- Abstract: Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a non-invasive imaging modality that generates real-time images by measuring tissue bioimpedance. It works by applying current and collecting voltage data to reconstruct images of electrical conductivity, reflecting tissue properties.[1] We aim to offer a comprehensive guide to the fundamental technology behind EIT and to explore its clinical applications across both pulmonary and extrapulmonary domains.
