- Abstract: Malnutrition is a common complication in patients with liver disease， particularly in the advanced stage of disease， and it significantly affects the prognosis of patients. In 2025， the American College of Gastroenterology released Clinical Guideline： Malnutrition and Nutritional Recommendations in Liver Disease， which covers the definition， causes， nutritional assessment methods， and intervention strategies for malnutrition associated with liver disease， which provides evidence-based recommendations for nutritional management in liver disease.
