Abstract:
The number of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) continues to increase. The combined effects of CGM and patient education have been demonstrated to improve glycemic control more effectively than CGM alone. Therefore, healthcare providers should analyze CGM reports and offer structured, personalized education to patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Various features are frequently updated in CGM reports. Thus, healthcare providers should be skilled in using these features to improve the quality of patient care.
