Abstract:
Features of audiograms from weavers who were diagnosed with occupational hearing loss were reviewed and the relationship between level of occupational hearing loss with self-reported symptoms in workers was determined. 500 workers of Nam Dinh Weaving Company were involved in the study. Results showed that the incidence of occupational hearing loss is 10.8%, mainly is mild and moderate hearing loss. There are not any cases of severe occupational hearing loss. Mean hearing loss index of 2 ears is mainly complete symmetrical hearing loss.
