- Abstract: Secondary infections are the leading cause of death in patients with bullous pemphigoid. Early identification of risk factors for secondary infections in patients with bullous pemphigoid can improve their prognosis. This review summarizes the relationships of secondary infections in bullous pemphigoid with clinical characteristics, laboratory indicators, drug treatment, and duration of hospitalization, providing a reference for clinical evaluation and treatment.
