Pancreaticoduodenectomy is one of the most complex surgeries, which remains the standard procedure for cancers located at the pancreatic head and periampullary area. Despite with a low incidence, post-pancreaticoduodenectomy hemorrhage is still a major concern or even life-threatening postoperative complication.
