Abstract: New daily persistent headache(NDPH)is a kind of persistent headache that patients can i-dentify the exact date of the sudden onset.It is one of the rare primary headaches difficult to be cured and may lead to disability,seriously affecting the daily life and work.The exact pathogenesis of NDPH remains unclear,which makes the treatment difficult.Here we report a case of refractory NDPH treated by intravenous injection of esketamine at a sub-anesthetic dose.
