Abstract:
Ischemic stroke has always been a thorny problem in the field of cerebrovascular research due to its complex injury mechanism, high incidence, and disability rate.It is essential to find new and effective interventions and neuroprotective strategies.Interleukin-33(IL-33),as one of the newly discovered members of the IL-1 family,is currently the focus of global academic research, and serum stimulation-2(ST2)is the main receptor for its action. In this paper, the current research status of the IL-33/ST2 signaling pathway in ischemic stroke was reviewed,to clarify the protective mechanism of IL-33/ST2 signaling pathway in ischemic stroke, including amplification of regulatory T cell, regulation of inflammation, and improvement of white matter,to provide new ideas for the treatment of ischemic stroke.
