Abstract: This article reviews the current status, assessment tools, influencing factors, and intervention measures of self-management behavior of intestinal symptoms in patients with rectal cancer undergoing anal preservation surgery, in order to provide reference for further research and nursing practice on self-management of intestinal symptoms after rectal cancer anal preservation.
