Abstract:
The phenomenon of polypharmacy in elderly patients is common, and polypharmacy affects the health outcomes of elderly patients. This article reviews the definition of polypharmacy, the current status of polypharmacy in elderly patients, and the correlation between polypharmacy and health outcomes, in order to provide a basis for nurses to participate in the management of polypharmacy in elderly patients and improve their health outcomes.
