Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the research hotspots and development frontiers of wearable devices in nursing at home and abroad.Methods:Relevant studies on the application of wearable devices in nursing published up to October 31, 2022 were retrieved from China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Databases, and Web of Science Core Collection databases. CiteSpace 6.1.R6 was used to conduct visual analysis on the trend of publication, countries and institutions, keywords, et al.Results:A total of 373 articles were included, including 187 in English and 186 in Chinese. The overall number of published articles was on the rise. Foreign research hotspots included sports monitoring, health monitoring and so on, and the research objects were mainly adults. Domestic research hotspots mainly included smart elderly care, mobile medical care, telemedicine, etc., and the research objects were mainly the aged.Conclusions:At present, the research on wearable devices in nursing is generally scant, and the number of published papers is low, but the overall number of published papers is on the rise. In the future, it is necessary to further explore the appropriate population and scene of wearable devices in nursing, expand the depth and breadth of research on wearable devices in nursing, pay attention to multidisciplinary collaboration, keep up with policy and technological changes, so as to promote the further development of nursing cause.
