Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of multidisciplinary whole-course nutritional management on skeletal muscle index loss value and radiotherapy process in patients with esophageal cancer. Methods:From April 2020 to March 2021, a total of 102 patients with esophageal cancer undergoing radiotherapy treatment in Jiangsu Cancer Hospital were selected and divided into the control and the observation group (51 cases in each group) by the envelope method. Two groups conducted routine dietary guidance, besides the observation group carried out multidisciplinary whole-course nutritional management. The difference in weight, body mass index (BMI) , skeletal muscle index value (SMI) , muscle radiation attenuation (MRA) and radiotherapy delay time were compared. Results:Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that weight at different times, BMI, SMI, MRA and radiotherapy delay time of patients in two groups exist time, groups, time and groups interaction effect ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Multidisciplinary whole-course nutrition management can improve the nutritional level of patients, delay the reduction of weight and BMI index, reduce the loss of SMI, and ensure the smooth progress of radiotherapy.
