Abstract:
Objective:To explore the application effect of cognitive-behavioral pathway intervention based on empowerment theory in patients with cervical cancer surgery. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 70 patients with cervical cancer who underwent surgical treatment in Fuyang Cancer Hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. According to the time of admission, they were divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the experimental group was given cognitive-behavioral pathway intervention based on empowerment theory on the basis of the control group. The scores of Self-care Ability Assessment (ESCA) , Baker Anxiety Inventory (BAI) , Baker Depression InventoryⅡ (BDI-Ⅱ) and Quality of Life were compared between the two groups before the intervention and after 4 weeks of intervention. Results:After 4 weeks of intervention, the total score of ESCA and scores of health knowledge, self-concept, self-responsibility and self-care skills in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group [ (93.62±18.19) vs. (83.87±18.30) , (34.26±6.23) vs. (31.26±5.61) , (18.25±5.34) vs. (15.34±4.26) , (18.24±4.28) vs. (16.04±3.78) , (22.87±2.34) vs. (21.23±4.65) points, all P<0.05]. The BAI score and BDI-Ⅱ score of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group [ (42.29±3.59) vs. (45.26±4.65) , (12.67±3.48) vs. (14.26±4.15) points, all P<0.05]. In the Quality of Life scale of the experimental group, the scores of disease concerns, activity limitation, mood and energy, life out of control, self-focus and sexual function were all higher than those of the control group [ (19.94±4.89) vs. (17.34±4.22) , (30.11±5.13) vs. (27.49±4.22) , (28.49±5.16) vs. (25.48±4.87) , (17.74±4.88) vs. (16.34±4.25) , (11.65±3.95) vs. (10.34±3.45) , (7.69±3.15) vs. (5.68±2.89) points, all P<0.05]. Conclusions:The cognitive-behavioral pathway intervention based on the empowerment theory for patients with cervical cancer surgery can improve the self-care ability of patients, reduce anxiety, depression and traumatic stress symptoms, promote rehabilitation and improve the quality of life.
