Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of context, input, process, product model teaching in clinical teaching of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing students. Methods:From July 2018 to May 2020, 86 nursing students trained in the ICU of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the research object by convenience sampling. The nursing students were divided into the observation group ( n=41) and the control group ( n=45) according to the random number table method. The control group received the traditional teaching, and the observation group received the context, input, process, product model teaching. The professional skills and professional values of the two groups of nursing students before and after training were compared. Results:After the training, the scores of the Nursing Professional Value Scale-Revised (NPVS-R) and the theoretical knowledge, operational skills, and comprehensive abilities of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Context, input, process, product model teaching can effectively improve the theoretical knowledge, operational skills and comprehensive ability of ICU nursing students, and help them establish positive professional values.
