Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of group psychological and behavioral intervention in elderly patients with depression. Methods:From January 2017 to November 2020, 106 elderly patients with depression admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Fuyang were selected as the research object by convenience sampling method. According to the random number table, the patients were divided into the experimental group and the control group, 53 cases in each group. The control group was given routine psychological and behavioral intervention, and the experimental group received group psychological and behavioral intervention on this basis for two weeks. The scores of the Chinese version of the Depression Self-Stigma Scale (DSSS) and the Chinese version of the Personal and Social Performance Scale (PSP-CHN) were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results:A total of two patients in the experimental group and four patients in the control group dropped out. Finally, 51 patients in the experimental group and 49 patients in the control group were included. After two weeks of intervention, the Chinese version DSSS dimension scores and total scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, and the total score of PSP-CHN was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Group psychological and behavioral intervention can help reduce self-stigma in elderly patients with depression and improve their personal and social functions.
