Abstract:
Objective:To explore the nursing effect of positive psychological intervention based on PERMA model for patients with depression. Methods:From January 2019 to December 2020, 120 depression patients admitted to Wenzhou Seventh People's Hospital were selected as the research object. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into the control group and the intervention group, 60 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the intervention group received positive psychological intervention based on the positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning and accomplishment (PERMA) model. Before and after the intervention, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) , Wechsler Memory Scale Revised China (WMS-RC) , and Hamilton Depression Scale-17 (HAMD-17) were used to evaluate the cognitive function, memory ability, and depressive symptoms of the two groups of patients. Results:After the intervention, the 7 dimensions and total scores of MoCA and the WMS-RC dimension scores in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, and the HAMD-17 scores were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The positive psychological intervention based on the PERMA model applied in depression patients can effectively improve the cognitive ability, memory ability and the drepressive symptoms of patients.
