Abstract:
Cancer patients have a fear of cancer recurrence long after their initial diagnosis and treatment. Fear of cancer recurrence has an important impact on patients' confidence and adherence to treatment, quality of life, and social functioning, and is associated with prognosis. This article reviews the theoretical model, related factors and intervention strategies of fear of cancer recurrence, so as to provide a reference for clinical intervention to reduce the level of fear of cancer recurrence.
