Abstract:
Objective:To systematically evaluate the psychological experience of benefit finding in cancer patients.Methods:The qualitative studies on the benefit finding of cancer patients from EMBASE, PubMed, EBSCO (CINAHL + Medline) , SinoMed, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) , VIP and Wanfang Database were systematically retrieved from the databases establishment to September 30, 2020. The authenticity evaluation tool of qualitative research of evidence-based health care center of Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) in Australia was used for literature evaluation, and the results were summarized by the method of aggregation and integration.Results:A total of 9 literatures were included and 23 results were extracted to form 8 categories, which were summarized into 3 integration results, including personal growth of patients, positive social relations for patients and active planning for the future.Conclusions:It is found that there is benefit finding for cancer patients after suffering from cancer. Medical staff should pay attention to the psychological changes of patients, actively guide and give psychological support from different angles, so as to promote the mental health of cancer patients.
