Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the development status and existing problems of nursing research on peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) related thrombosis by using literature metrology method in China. Methods:CNKI database, Wanfang database, VIP database and CBM database were retrieved and CiteSpace software was used to conduct statistical analysis of the literature on nursing research on PICC related thrombosis in China. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the databases to December 1, 2021.Results:A total of 3 988 papers were retrieved and 846 papers were included after screening. The number of published papers on PICC related thrombosis nursing research in China was on the rise as a whole. From 2013 to 2019, a total of 655 papers were published, accounting for 77.42% of the total number of papers. Among the literature types, experience summary was the most (442, 52.25%) , followed by 201 (23.76%) experimental studies. The publication institutions were located in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government in China, with Jiangsu Province having the highest number of publications with 82 (9.69%) , followed by Guangdong Province with 64 (7.57%) . The research subjects focused on cancer patients and the research topics focused on risk factors and nursing interventions. Conclusions:PICC related thrombosis is gradually attracting the attention of nursing staff in China and the research efforts are increasing, but the overall research quality needs to be further improved. In the future, it is necessary to strengthen the scientific nature and rigor of scientific research design, strengthen the cooperation and communication between researchers and institutions in different regions, actively grasp the current hot spots and development trends of PICC related thrombosis nursing research and expand the research content.
