Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the clinical applicability of the Chinese version of Denver trauma emergency evaluation criteria. Methods:The cluster sampling method was adopted to select 205 patients who were admitted to the Trauma Emergency Room of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital in May 2018 and May 2019 for investigation. The patients admitted in May 2018 were set as the control group ( n=105) , and the hospital's self-developed standard was used for injury assessment. The patients admitted in May 2019 were set as the experimental group ( n=100) , and the Chinese version of Denver trauma emergency evaluation criteria was used to evaluate. According to the rescue outcome, patients transferred to ICU and emergency surgery and dead patients were defined as "critically ill patients", and patients transferred to general wards and self-recovered patients were defined as "mildly ill patients". The proportion of patients with mild or severe disease in the two groups was analyzed. Results:There were no statistically significant differences in age, gender, cause of injury and hospitalization rate between two groups ( P>0.05) . The proportion of severe patients in experimental group (38.0%, 38/100) was higher than that in control group (22.9%, 24/105) , and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Chinese version of Denver trauma emergency evaluation criteria is helpful to identify severe patients in Trauma Emergency Room and has good clinical applicability.
