Abstract: Parental perceptions of child vulnerability (PPCV) is widespread among pediatric patients, and has serious adverse effects on children, families, and society. This article reviews the concept, commonly used measurement tools, and research status of PPCV at home and abroad, and summarizes the influencing factors from three aspects, namely, pediatric factors, parental factors and social factors. This article analyzes the limitations of existing research and makes recommendations, with a view to providing references for future evaluation, prevention and intervention of PPCV.
