Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of cluster nursing measures on preventing the occurrence of central venous access devices associated skin impairment (CASI) of tumor patients. Methods:A total of 306 tumor patients with indwelling PICC who were admitted to the Department of General Surgery in a Class Ⅲ Grade A hospital in Beijing from September 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the experimental group by the convenient sampling method, and they were given cluster nursing measures. A total of 295 patients with indwelling PICC from March 2017 to June 2018 in the same department were selected in the control group, and the PICC catheterization and maintenance procedures were used for operation. The occurrence of CASI and the degree of pain and itching of CASI patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of CASI in the experimental group was 7.19% (22/306) , lower than 20.34% (60/295) in the control group, and the number of cases of tension blisters and contact dermatitis in the experimental group was less than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.01) . The degree of pain and itching of patients with CASI in the experimental group were lighter than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Cluster nursing measures can effectively reduce the incidence of CASI in tumor patients with indwelling PICC and improve their comfort degree.
