Abstract: Early intervention of alexithymia in patients with Parkinson's disease is of great significance to disease development, quality of life, interpersonal relationship and social support. This article reviews the concept, classification, pathological mechanism, prevalence, influencing factors, adverse effects, evaluation tools and intervention measures of alexithymia in patients with Parkinson's disease, aiming to provide ideas and directions for future research on alexithymia in patients with Parkinson's disease in China.
