Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effects of enhanced recovery in the treatment of patients with varicose veins by intraluminal radiofrequency ablation combined with foam sclerotherapy and stripping. Methods:Totally 81 patients with varicose veins who underwent intraluminal radiofrequency ablation combined with foam sclerotherapy and stripping at No.2 People's Hospital of Yingzhou District of Fuyang City of Anhui Province were selected by the convenient sampling method. A total of 40 patients admitted from October 2018 to June 2019 were included into the control group, who received routine care, while 41 patients admitted between July 2019 and September 2020 were included into the observation group, who received enhanced recovery care. The postoperative recovery, the implementation of elastic stockings, occurrence of complications, and the mastery of rehabilitation knowledge were compared between the two groups of patients. Results:The time to get out of bed after surgery, the disappearance of calf numbness, and the hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the pain score at 24 hours after surgery was lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05) . The implementation of elastic stockings in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the total incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . The observation group was better than the control group in terms of drug use, functional exercise, use of elastic stockings, and other rehabilitation knowledge after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant ( P< 0.05) . Conclusions:Integrating the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery into the treatment with intraluminal radiofrequency ablation combined with foam sclerotherapy and stripping can further exert the advantages of minimally invasive surgery, promote postoperative recovery of patients with varicose veins, and enhance surgical treatment experience.
