Abstract:
Objective:To explore the status quo of empowerment perceived by clinical nurses and magnetic level in hospitals, and analyze the relationship between them. Methods:A total of 260 clinical nurses from 3 ClassⅢ Grade A hospitals in Nanjing from April 2020 to June 2020 were investigated by convenience sampling method. The general information questionnaire, the Chinese version of Essentials of Magnetism Scale (EMO Ⅱ) and Leadership Empowerment Behavior Scale were applied in the investigation. A total of 260 questionnaires were distributed, and 249 valid questionnaires were collected. Results:The total score of 249 clinical nurses' perception of empowerment behavior was (98.41±9.92) . The total score of Chinese version of EMOⅡ was (132.28±18.93) . The results of hierarchical regression analysis show that after controlling for general data, Personal development support and work guidance in leadership empowerment behavior can explain 37.2% of the total variation of the hospital's magnetic level. Conclusions:There is a close relationship between the empowerment perceived by clinical nurses and the magnetic level of hospitals. Nursing managers should strengthen the empowerment of clinical nurses through various ways, so as to improve their perceived hospital magnetic level, reduce staff turnover, and stabilize the excellent clinical nursing team.
