Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the current status of pain self-efficacy in patients with advanced liver cancer, and analyze its influencing factors. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 245 patients with advanced liver cancer in a hospital from June 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects. General information questionnaire, Chronic Pain Self-Efficacy Scale and Disease Uncertainty Questionnaire were used to investigate the current situation and influencing factors of pain self-efficacy in patients with advanced liver cancer. Results:The pain self-efficacy score of 245 patients with advanced liver cancer was (2.34±0.32) , of which the highest score was the symptom coping self-efficacy dimension [ (2.46±0.38) ], and the lowest score was the physical function self-efficacy dimension [ (2.25±0.31) ]. Univariate analysis showed that the pain self-efficacy scores of advanced liver cancer patients with different ages, marital status, family income, education, medical payment methods, smoking history, drinking history and family history were compared, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Pearson correlation analysis showed that the pain self-efficacy of patients with advanced liver cancer was negatively correlated with the disease uncertainty score ( r=-0.331, P<0.01) . Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, educational background and disease uncertainty were the influencing factors of pain self-efficacy in patients with advanced liver cancer ( P<0.01) . Conclusions:The pain self-efficacy score of patients with advanced liver cancer is at a moderate level. Clinical nursing staff should formulate corresponding measures according to its influencing factors to improve the pain self-efficacy level of patients.
