Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effects of continuous nursing based on WeChat platform in patients after ovarian cancer surgery. Methods:From June 2017 to June 2018, convenience sampling was used to select 82 patients who were diagnosed with ovarian cancer and about to be discharged after surgery in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the research object. Patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 41 cases in each group. Control group was given regular guidance when discharged from the hospital, and observation group was given continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform after discharge on the basis of control group. We compared the compliance, anxiety, depression and quality of life of patients between two groups before and after intervention. Results:The cognition and compliance scores of observation group were higher than those of control group three months after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . The Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and the Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores of patients in observation group at three month after surgery were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . The quality of life of observation group was better than that of control group at 6 months after surgery, and the difference was also statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Continuous nursing based on WeChat platform can improve the psychological condition and quality of life of patients after ovarian cancer surgery.
