Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of combined family participatory care in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) premature infants. Methods:By convenience sampling method, a total of 120 cases of premature infants admitted to NICU of Henan Provincial People's Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected. According to the admission time, 60 cases of premature infants and their families admitted from January 2017 to June 2018 were included in the control group, and 60 cases of premature infants and their families admitted from July 2018 to December 2019 were included in the observation group. Family participatory care was implemented in the control group. The standard process of family participatory nursing under the guidance of clinical nursing path was formulated and standardized in the observation group. The hospitalization time and feeding status of premature infants in the two groups were compared. The neonatal neurobehavioral ability, caregiver care ability and parents' satisfaction of the two groups were evaluated by the Neonatal Behavioral Neurological Assessment (NBNA) , the parents' care ability questionnaire and the Measure of Processes of Care (MPOC-20) .Results:The NBNA score, daily milk intake, exclusive breastfeeding rate, caregiver knowledge, care ability and the total score of the observation group were all higher than those of the control group, while the length of hospital stay, total enteral nutrition time and feeding intolerance rate of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group. All the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Clinical nursing pathway combined with family participation nursing is conducive to improving the neurobehavioral ability of NICU premature infants, reducing hospital stays, improving feeding conditions and the care ability and satisfaction of carers.
