Abstract:
The removal of airway secretions in mechanically ventilated patients is the key in artificial airway management, and the effect of secretion removal directly affects the prognosis of patients. This article analyzes and summarizes the key links, such as airway assessment, instrument-assisted sputum excretion, negative pressure suction in the airway and removal of secretions on the airbag in mechanically ventilated patients, and summarizes and analyzes the methods and effects of airway secretion removal, in order to provide a basis and reference for the nursing practice and research of artificial airway secretion removal.
