Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of telecare mode on parental care ability of children with congenital heart disease (CHD) after surgery. Methods:From January 2017 to January 2018, convenience sampling was used to select 86 children who underwent CHD surgery at the Cardiothoracic Surgery of Children's Hospital Affiliated of Zhengzhou University. According to the random number table, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 43 children in each group. Control group carried out postoperative care and continuous nursing, and observation group implemented the telecare model on the basis of control group. We compared the body weight, rate of rehospitalization during follow-up, parental care ability of children, and the anxiety and depression of mothers of children between two groups. Results:Six months and one year after discharge, the weight of children in observation group was higher than that of control group with a statistically significant difference ( P<0.05) . The rehospitalization rate of children in observation group within 1 year after discharge was lower than that in control group also with a statistically significant difference ( P<0.05) . Six months and one year after discharge, the parental care ability scores of the children in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Six months and one year after discharge, the scores of anxiety and depression of the mothers of children in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Telecare for children with CHD after surgery can improve the parental care ability of children, reduce the anxiety and anxiety of the mothers of children, and speed up the recovery of the children after surgery.
