Abstract:
Objective:To explore the current situation of eHealth literacy of tumor patients and to analyze its influencing factors so as to provide a reference for clinical promotion measures of eHealth literacy. Methods:From November 2019 to January 2020, 132 tumor patients in a ClassⅢGrade A cancer hospital were selected by convenience sampling. Patients were investigated with the Chinese version of the eHealth Literacy Scale (eHEALS) and self-designed General Information Questionnaire. Single factor analysis and multiple stepwise regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of eHealth literacy of tumor patients. Results:The total score of eHealth literacy of tumor patients was (24.21±9.07) . Regression analysis showed that the main influencing factors of eHealth literacy of tumor patients included the age, domicile place, number of internet tools, number of channels for obtaining health information, discussion with family members about using internet to find health resources ( F=28.020, P<0.001) . Conclusions:Tumor patients have low levels of eHealth literacy. We should pay attention to the elderly, rural residents, people who lack internet access tools and lack access to health information. When conducting eHealth education, the health education needs of this group of people cannot be ignored. Discussion with family members about using the internet to find health resources may improve eHealth literacy of tumor patients. We can fully mobilize the support of family members when carrying out eHealth literacy promotion program.
