Abstract: This article reviews the current status of the second victim related support in patient safety incidents at home and abroad, proposes the necessity of constructing a second victim support system, and summarizes the research progress on the second victim support assessment tools and systems abroad, with a view to provide references for the establishment of a multi-disciplinary second victim support system in China.
