Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effects of nursing intervention based on the PRECEDE-PROCEED model combined with WeChat on patients discharged with T-tube after biliary surgery. Methods:Totally 120 patients discharged with T-tube after biliary surgery in the Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery at a ClassⅢ Grade A hospital in Qingdao from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected by convenient sampling and randomized into an experimental group and a control group, with 60 patients in each group. Patients in the experimental group received nursing care based on the PRECEDE-PROCEED model combined with WeChat, while patients in the control group received routine discharge management nursing interventions. T-tube Maintenance Knowledge Questionnaire, Self-management Behavior Questionnaire, Quality of Life Questionnaires and Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire were used to evaluate the T-tube maintenance knowledge, management ability, quality of life level and satisfaction, the incidence of complications in the two groups were recorded. Results:The T-tube maintenance knowledge level, self-management behavior, quality of life score and satisfaction of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P< 0.05) . The incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Nursing intervention based on the PRECEDE-PROCEED model combined with WeChat can effectively improve the level of catheter management for patients discharged with T-tube, improve patients' self-management behavior, reduce the incidence of catheter-related complications, and improve the quality of life and satisfaction of patients.
