Abstract:
Objective:To understand the research power distribution, development trends and research hotspots of researches on mental workload of medical staff.Methods:CiteSpace V (5.5.R2) was used to conduct bibliometric analysis of literatures related to mental workload of medical staff published from 1992 to 2018 with Web of Science core database as the search source, and network map of scientific research cooperation, literature co-citation, keyword co-occurrence was drawn.Results:A total of 158 literatures were retrieved, and the amount of published papers on mental workload of medical staff showed an overall upward trend. The United States was at the core position in this field. The cooperative relationships between different institutions were not obvious and most of it was cooperation between different scholars within the institution. The current research hotspots of mental workload of medical staff mainly focused on measurement methods, influencing factors, intervention strategies and other aspects of mental workload. In addition, more attention should be paid to the effect of new technologies such as information technology on the mental workload of medical staff.Conclusions:The research on mental workload of medical staff in China started late. It is necessary to strengthen the scientific cooperation with the United States and other countries. Besides, it is necessary to pay more attention to research hotspots such as measurement methods, influencing factors and intervention strategies of mental workload and conduct multidisciplinary integrated exploration research.
