Abstract:
Objective:To explore effects of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with limb functional exercise based on continuous nursing management on stroke patients with limb dysfunction. Methods:A total of 130 stroke patients with limb dysfunction who were admitted to Nanyang First People's Hospital from September 2017 to July 2019 were selected by the convenient sampling method. They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 65 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing combined with limb function exercise while the observation group was given acupuncture and moxibustion treatment and continuous nursing on the basis of the control group. TCM symptom scores, neurological score, Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) Scale score, Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke Patients (PASS) score and 6-Minute Walking Distance were compared between the two groups. Results:After intervention, the score of each dimension of TCM syndrome scores and neurological score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant ( P<0.01) . The FMA upper and lower limb scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant ( P<0.01) . The PASS score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the 6-Minute Walking Distance was more than the control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant ( P<0.01) . Conclusions:Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with limb functional exercise based on continuous nursing management can improve the nerve function and limb motor function of patients and improve the balance control ability of their limbs, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
