Abstract:
Objective? To explore the effect of evidence-based cancer pain nursing on cancer pain patients. Methods? Using convenient sampling method, 83 patients with cancer and pain who were diagnosed and treated in the First People′s Hospital of Chun′an County, Zhejiang Province from March 2014 to September 2016 were selected as the study objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group (n=41) and observation group (n=42). The control group adopted the routine nursing mode, and the observation group adopted the evidence-based cancer pain nursing based on the routine nursing. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS), Piper Fatigue Scale (PFS) were used to evaluate the pain and psychological status of the two groups, and to analyze the improvement of cancer-related fatigue in the two groups. Results? Before intervention, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05); after intervention, the VAS, SAS, SDS and cancer-related fatigue scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group with statistical significance (P< 0.05). Conclusions? Evidence-based pain nursing intervention for cancer pain patients can relieve the pain and mental state of cancer pain patients, reduce cancer-related fatigue, and improve the quality of life of patients.
