Abstract: Septic shock is one of the leading causes of death in children，especially infants，both domestically and internationally.Research has found that patients with septic shock often have abnormal thyroid function，which affects their prognosis.This article reviewed the changes in thyroid hormone and thyroid-stimulating hormone levels，the reasons for these changes，and the mechanisms by which thyroid function affects the immune system in patients with septic shock,aiming to provide new ideas for clinical treatment.
