Abstract:
Palliative wound care introduces the concept of palliative care into the field of wound care, but its development is still in its infancy. This article will review the definition, goals, and implementation strategies of palliative wound care, aiming to provide a basis for effectively managing wound-related symptoms at the end of life, preventing wound deterioration or new wound complications, alleviating patient's suffering, promoting patient's comfort and dignity, and improving their quality of life.
