Citespace analysis on syndrome research in China from 2008 to 2018

Abstract:
Objective? To explore the syndrome research fronts in China for nearly ten nears by carrying out CiteSpace analysis for related literatures with the CiteSpace. Methods? A total of 172 literatures on syndrome were retrieved by taking Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) as database from 1st January 2008 to 26th October 2018. Results? CiteSpace analysis showed that the syndrome related quality of life, lung cancer and symptom management were the hot spots in recent years, and the research contents of those literatures were summarized as follows: types of cancer, quality of life, management methods and influencing factors of syndrome. Conclusions? CiteSpace analysis with the CiteSpace 5.3 helps to understand the level of cooperation among authors, distributions of scientific institution and concentration region of research hotspots in syndrome research so as to provide a reference for expanding the types, classification, mechanism, evaluation scales and research methods of syndrome.
