Abstract:
Objective? To explore the effects of evidence-based nursing on quality of life among diabetic retinopathy patients. Methods? From February 2015 to February 2017, we selected 126 diabetic retinopathy patients of Department of Ophthalmology in Tangshan Gongren Hospital of Hebei Province as subjects by convenience sampling. All of the patients were divided into observation group and control group with the random number table, 63 cases in each group. Observation group carried out evidence-based nursing, while control group implemented routine nursing. The intervention effects were compared with the Quality of Life Scale for Eye Disease Patients with Visual Impairment, fibrinogen (Fbg), serum hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tissue plasminogen activator (tPA), D-Dimer (D-D) and plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI). Results? After intervention, the dimension scores of Quality of Life Scale of patients in observation group were higher than those in control group with statistical differences (P< 0.05). The Fbg, hs-CRP, PAI and D-D of patients in observation group were lower than those in control group after intervention with a statistical difference (P< 0.05). The tPA of patients in observation group was higher than that in control group with a statistical difference (P< 0.05). Conclusions? Evidence-based nursing can improve the quality of life of diabetic retinopathy patients, which is worthy of generalization and application.
