Abstract:
Objective? To analyze the status and the existing problems of patient safety education among medical students of our country so as to provide a reference to carrying out safety education for medical students. Methods? Totals of 51 English documents and 24 Chinese documents were retrieved in data base taking "patient safety education" or "patient safety teaching" as key words. This paper stated the status, existing problems and countermeasures of patient safety education among medical students, and analyzed the teaching methods as well as teaching content. Results? Patient safety education for medical students of our country was still in the starting stage which lacking related research content, being with the single teaching content and teaching form, and lacking systemic patient safety education. Conclusions? Patient safety education for medical students can learn from foreign experience and combine with physical truth of our country to improve the teaching content, teaching form as well as systemic patient safety education so as to explore a patient safety education system in line with China's national conditions and provide a guidance for patient safety education for medical students of our country.
