Abstract: The tissue damage of destructive wounds is severe, and its repair and reconstruction are complex and difficult, making it difficult to achieve the desired goal of the treatment outcomes of function and appearance. In recent years, the repair and reconstruction of destructive wounds have received widespread attention and significant progress has been made. However, some key technical bottlenecks still require to be explored and broken through, and the perfect and effective treatment strategies need to be established and standardized. This article briefly discusses the concept of destructive wounds, etiological diagnosis and treatment, injury assessment, principles and technical methods of repair and reconstruction, as well as the key difficult problems that need to be solved. The aim is to attract the attention and discussion of colleagues in the field, providing a reference for further improving the ability in repair and reconstruction of destructive wounds and optimizing the therapeutic effects.
