Application of team management continuous nursing in retinal detachment patients with surgery

Abstract:
Objective? To explore the effects of the team management continuous nursing in retinal detachment patients with surgery. Methods? From January 2016 to January 2018, we selected retinal detachment patients with surgery in Department of Ophthalmology of Wuxi Second People's Hospital by convenience sampling. Control group carried out routine continuous nursing. Observation group received the team management continuous nursing. We compared the treatment compliance, the rate of retinal reattachment and mastery of health knowledge of patients between two groups. Results? The medication compliance, position compliance, diet compliance and further consultation compliance of patients in observation group were 94.4%, 90.3%, 97.2%, and 91.7% respectively better than those in control group with statistical differences (χ2=4.265, 5.607, 4.338, 5.113; P＜0.05). The rate of retinal reattachment and mastery of health knowledge of patients in observation group were 94.4% and 88.9% respectively higher than those in control group with statistical differences (χ2=4.265, 11.856;P＜0.05). Conclusions? Team management continuous nursing can improve the treatment compliance and mastery of health knowledge of retinal detachment patients with surgery which helps retinal reattachment with important clinical significance.
