Abstract:
Objective? To explore the effects of humanized nursing service in ophthalmology ward. Methods? Between May 2016 to February 2018, a total of 200 patients in the ophthalmology ward of Shaoxing People's Hospital of Zhejiang Province were selected as the research subjects by convenience sampling method. According to the sequence of admission, the subjects were divided into control group and intervention group, with 100 cases in each group. The patients in both groups received routine ophthalmic care. The intervention group received humanistic nursing service at the same time. The scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), patient satisfaction, nursing complaints and disputes were compared between the two groups. Results? Before the intervention, there were no statistical differences in the scores of SAS and SDS between the two groups (P>0.05). After the intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in the intervention group were both lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P< 0.05). The satisfaction rate of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusions? Humanistic nursing service can improve the patient's anxiety and depression level, improve the patient's satisfaction, and reduce the nursing complaints and disputes.
