Abstract:
Objective? To explore the effects of family synchronous health education on emotions, quality of life and nursing satisfaction in liver cancer patients with the interventional therapy. Methods? From September 2016 to August 2017, we selected liver cancer patients with interventional therapy at Henan Province Hospital of TCM as subjects by convenience sampling. All of the patients were divided into two groups according to admission time, including control group treated between September 2016 and February 2017 (n=42) and observation group treated between March 2017 and August 2017 (n=41). Control group received routine nursing and health education. On the basis of that in control group, observation group carried out family synchronous health education involving daily health education, video viewing and education by WeChat group. And then, the scores of Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and quality a life of patients were evaluated after admission and before discharge; the patients' satisfaction with nursing were investigated between two groups before discharge. Results? After admission, there was no statistical difference in the scores of SDS, SAS and quality of life of patients in two groups (P>0.05). Before discharge, the scores of SDS and SAS of observation group were lower than those of control group; the scores of role function, emotional function and overall quality of life of patients in observation group were higher than those in control group; patients' satisfaction with nursing of observation group was higher than that in control group;the differences were all statistical (P<0.05). Conclusions Family synchronous health education in various forms can improve quality of life, negative emotions and nursing satisfaction in liver cancer patients with the interventional therapy. It is worth to be further spread and applied.
