Abstract: Infection is the most common complication after burn injury and one of the leading causes of death in burn patients. Thus, how to effectively prevent the occurrence and development of infection is an important task in treating burns. Till now, there are still many controversies in the clinical definition, diagnosis, and treatment of infection, especially burn infection. The authors of this article put forward their opinions and views on this subject, hoping to deepen the readers' understanding of burn infection.
