- Abstract: Metastasis of colorectal cancer is the primary cause of progression and mortality.Although surgical resection is the preferred method for liver metastasis of colorectal cancer,liver transplantation,as a treatment approach,has attracted widespread attention for patients with unresectable colorectal cancer liver metastases.Recently,an increasing number of clinical trials have focused on the indications for liver transplantation in the treatment of unresectable colorectal cancer liver metastases.Therefore,we systematically summarize the progress of liver transplantation in the application of unresectable colorectal cancer liver metastasis from the aspects of indications,contraindications and advantages over traditional treatment methods.
