Effects of O2O platform on the implementation of contraceptive measures in patients after induced abortion

Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of O2O platform on the implementation of postoperative contraceptive measures in patients after induced abortion, so as to provide a reference for postoperative effective implementation of contraceptive measures. Methods A total of 91 cases of patients after artificial abortion from May 2013 to May 2016 were selected and divided into control group (n=45) and observation group (n=46) according to the random number table. The patients in the control group adopted routine postoperative contraception, while the patients in the observation group were guided through O2O platform on the basis of the control group. Patients's; knowledge of contraceptive and the rate of repeated abortion half year after the operation compared between the two groups. Results The awareness rates of contraceptive knowledge during hospitalization and 3 months after discharge in the control group were 55.56% and 66.67% , and those in the observation group were 56.52% and 97.82% respectively. There was no statistical difference between the two groups during hospitalization (P> 0.05), however, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant after discharge for 3 months (P<0.05). The rates of repeated abortion half year after the operation of the control group and observation group were 22.22% and 6.52% respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05). Conclusions The postoperative contraceptive guidance based on O2O platform for patients after induced abortion can effectively improve the awareness rate of contraceptive knowledge and reduce the rate of repeated abortion, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
