Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of mobile APP on health education in inpatients with stroke. Methods From August to December, a total of 260 stroke patients in the Neurology Department of Xuanwu Hospital Capital Medcical University were selected by convenience sampling method. All the patients were asked to install the mobile APP and given health education using the health education module. The mastery degree of stroke related knowledge and nurse satisfaction were investigated before the installation of the APP and before discharge. Results The overall hits of health education mode was 1 989 times. After using APP intervention, the awareness of stroke patients was higher than that before intervention, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). The nurse satisfaction of health education module in the APP was 100%. Conclusions The effects of the mobile APP on stroke patients' health education are optimal, which could be further promoted in clinical practice, providing a foundation for effective stroke secondary prevention.
