Abstract:
In this article, papers about treating migraine with bean-pressing on auricular points in recent years were analyzed. Etiology, pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation of migraine, mechanism and treatment methods of bean-pressing on auricular points were analyzed. Methods of simple bean-pressing on auricular points, combination of bean-pressing on auricular points with emotion nursing, with acupuncture, with traditional Chinese medicine, and with ear tip bloodletting were summarized. Treatment of migraine with bean-pressing on auricular points had already been mature, yet still with some problems like no inclusion criteria for clinical research, unclear method for randomized controlled trial, no baseline description, too-short treatment course, no frequency index, and so on. Research on standardization and normalization should be further strengthened, and methods of treating migraine with bean-pressing on auricular points should be collected and summarized for the guidance of clinical work.
